Our Story
Our story started in 2022 when our founder, Sophie, after over-exerting herself suffered a severe hip injury which was later diagnosed as a rare hip condition called oesteonecrosis. This was unfortunately discovered in both hips and required both to be completely replaced. The pain caused by the severity of the condition was on some days completely dehabilitating, so Sophie delved into research for ways to ease the pain, reduce inflammation, and improve her overall well-being during this time. After consulting with a nutritionist and wellness coach Annabelle (who herself, after changing her diet, had gone into complete remission after being diagnosed with throat cancer) Sophie discovered the benefits of the fresh juices immensely improved her quality of life and she wanted to share this newfound vitality with others in the area.
The next leg (no pun intended) in the journey was actually focused on reducing the food waste locally in North Cornwall.
We are lucky to be surrounded with an abundance of locally grown produce, and we hope Bumbeelicious will go some way to support local farmers and the very important bee population which is integral to our eco system.
